sexy bags.

this is one of the most beautiful short films i've ever seen. the director of photography is a genius.
and it's about bags.
i mean....
they are sexy bags.
the scout just raised the bar.

distractions

the television is on as background noise as i try to plan our first grown up thanksgiving.
i hear. "i date a rapper douche bag. Mayham, please save me."
"welcome to bully beat down!"
i think to myself "how?"
"how does a show like this get funding and a prime time spot on mtv and i'm not a famous television writer/director/producer?"
i turn the tv off and my laptop volume up and thank the national for making the world right again.

i love to eat.

and luckily enough, my love of cooking has grown at a rapid enough pace to keep up with
my love of eating. a dear friend introduced me to this site a while ago and ever since i have
been fully committing to only eat what my new hero cooks. now of course this not even remotely
possible. but i have made it through the following:
1.pineapple rice
2.heather's quinoa recipe
3.lemony chickpea stir-fry
4.summer squash gratin
5.chopped miso salad
6.sushi bowl
7.warm and nutty cinnamon quinoa
8.japanese pizza
all were unreal delicious. her photographs are just as tasty as the food she cooks.

also delicious. this new food show promo.

oh. and rome did not suck.

dreamy mc dreamerson.

never to recover again from the glorious land of rising waters. waters that i am convinced are not becoming fuller because of al gore and his invention of the internet  that ultimately caused all this here global warming, instead waters on the dangerous creep because of the amount of beauty, culture, culinary and historical secrets that are buried deep in the mud banks that this golden city was built upon so many years ago.
this mythical place i speak of?
venice.
always has.
always will be one of the most magical places my husband and i have ever experienced.
go before it joins the ranks of pompeii and atlantis..
until you buy your tickets and rain boots here is our version of the story book city.
